Connection Center Coordinator
Love INC of South Lincoln County is seeking a Ministries Director—someone who is compassionate, prayerful, and organized, and who is passionate about supporting volunteers and churches in ministry. This position helps coordinate GAP Ministries and the New Heights program by supporting volunteers, working with partner churches, and ensuring ministries run smoothly. This part-time role plays an important part in building relationships and helping Love INC ministries serve neighbors well in the name of Christ.

Ministries Coordinator
Reports To:
Executive Director
Job Summary:
The Ministries Coordinator serves as a key leader in mobilizing and equipping volunteers and churches to carry out the mission of Love In the Name of Christ—to mobilize local churches to transform lives and communities in the Name of Christ. This position provides oversight, coordination, and support for GAP Ministries and our New Heights program.
Employment Status: Part-time
Approximately 8 hours/week with 2 extra hours during New Heights sessions. This is currently a one-year position, with the expectation that it will become a long-term position as part of our ministry framework, as ongoing financial support allows.
Qualifications and Requirements:
● A growing and mature relationship with Jesus Christ.
● Commitment to a local church family, preferably a Love INC partner.
● Familiarity with the Redemptive Compassion® philosophy of ministry.
● Complete Love INC orientation.
● Strong organizational and communication skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Proficiency with basic office software and record-keeping.
● Pass a background check.
● Agree with Love INC’s Statement of Faith and a commitment to uphold Love INC’s strong Christian values.
● Maintain strict confidentiality regarding participant information and ministry records.
● Reliable transportation for attending meetings and arriving safely at New Heights locations, including winter travel.
● Annual review with the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities:
1. GAP Ministries Oversight
● Serve as the main point of contact for GAP ministry coordinators.
● Ensure ministries remain effective, aligned with Love INC’s mission, and adequately resourced.
● Meet monthly with GAP coordinators for updates, encouragement, and prayer.
● Collect and maintain accurate records of services provided, including Love Stories and ministry outcomes, from GAP coordinators for reporting to the Executive Director.
● Collect Gap Ministries photos & stories to share with the Social Media Coordinator.
● Complete online trainings offered through Love INC National.
2. New Heights Classes Coordination (+2 hours/week during fall & winter sessions)
● Complete Transformation Ministries training. (LEAD)
○ Other classes will also be encouraged
● Coordinate schedules, facilitators, and materials for New Heights classes.
● Set the agenda and facilitate team meetings for New Heights planning sessions.
● Track weekly attendance and progress of participants, as well as provide follow-up on needs that may need to be met.
● Support instructors with resources, encouragement, and prayer.
● Share New Heights information with the Social Media coordinator.
● Oversee Pack-a-Bag incentives.
● Participate in monthly online Transformational Ministries support calls
General Responsibilities:
● Represent Love INC in a manner that reflects Christian character and servant leadership.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with churches, volunteers, and participants.
● Assist the Executive Director with special projects as assigned, to include, but not limited to, community awareness, micro-events, annual events, celebrations, etc.
Qualifications:

● Commitment to a local church family, preferably a Love INC partner
● Familiarity with the Redemptive Compassion® philosophy of ministry.
● Complete Love INC orientation.
● Strong organizational and communication skills.

● Weekly staff meeting (Time TBD)
● Office hours: 1 full day of work a week, or 2 half days.
● Must be available one evening per week during New Heights sessions
